Traffic Rush Price Increases and Affiliate Program Launches Tomorrow

I’ve developed a home study course on the usage of StumbleUpon to drive traffic to your website. This project is the account of my progress in developing and marketing that course. The course is now LIVE, is called Traffic Rush and you can enroll right now at http://www.traffic-rush.net/.
Ad-Free Version For Buyers Now Available
Those of you who have signed up for the free lessons will no doubt have noticed the rather large “buy now” buttons splattered throughout them enticing you to buy the full version. I have no qualms about putting these in the free lessons but one of my customers pointed out that it is rather annoying for those people who had already bought it.
I had to agree! So I have now put together another version of the first 10 lessons which don’t have any ads. One of the things I did after the launch was to setup a separate mailing list just for buyers so they could receive updates. I sent out a mailing to that list this morning with the links to the new ad-free lessons but I know there are about half a dozen people who have bought the course and not joined that list. If you’re one of them then drop me an email and I’ll send you the updated links.
Incidentally I will be explaining how I have managed the email lists in an upcoming post - it was a bit tricky to setup both lists and I certainly made quite a few mistakes which I have now learned from.
Have I Given Too Much Away?
I sent out a new edition of my newsletter yesterday and the highlight was the fact that WordPress 2.6 has been released. One minor feature which I really rather like is a new word count feature. It just sits in a sidebar as you edit your post, take a look:

That’s for lesson 2 which turns out to be the longest one (in terms of words) in the whole course! I was surprised to find that I have written more in the basic course than the advanced one. I counted 17,584 words in the basic course and 16,131 words in the advanced one! I dread to think how many words I have written in the whole of this blog! I wonder if anybody will come out with a plugin to tell you?
Launch Discount Ends Tomorrow
For the first week after launch the price was set at an introductory $27, partly to make me feel better about any technical hitches I might encounter! Indeed I did encounter quite a few but they are all sorted now thankfully. The discount period ends tomorrow at 12 noon eastern time and then the price goes up to $47 so if you want to buy it then act now!

Last chance to buy the full Traffic Rush course for just $27
Affiliate Program Launches
Today I have been building and testing the affiliate program that will be launched at the same time as the price increase. The cool thing is that as an affiliate you will be able to promote the free lessons and if anybody buys the full course from any of the links in any of those lessons any time within six months of the sign up you will get the credit. Hopefully, it should be a lot easier to promote the free lessons than to try and sell the full course directly!
Stay tuned for full details tomorrow…
