Caroline’s Projects
I am still learning about making money online. To make it easier for me to organise my thoughts, and for others to follow along with what I’m doing, I have organised my ventures into specific projects that I list here.
The Software Project (Current)
I intend to develop a subscription-based website that provides members with various online software tools. This project will detail everything except the coding itself.
The AdSense Project (Complete)
The aim of this project was to generate a monthly income of at least $1000 by building a suite of small, tightly-focused niche sites which are monetized with AdSense. This was a large project and covered not just the building of the sites but also many link building techniques such as article marketing, effective commenting, web 2.0 and much more. The project was not profitable and was closed after a few months to make way for the Software Project.
30DC Challenge 2008 Project (Complete)
The Thirty Day Challenge (30DC) is a free Internet marketing course that runs through the month of August each year. I first took part in 2007 and that is what started my journey into this online venture.
The Traffic Rush Project (Complete)
I’ve developed an email based course teaching students how to drive traffic with Stumble Upon. The course is now complete and this project details the technical aspects of developing the course, the launch process and various marketing details.
The Ebook Project (Complete)
I’ve written a free ebook to give away on this blog. The purpose of the project was to discuss the creation and more importantly, marketing of that ebook.
The Bum Marketing Project (Cancelled)
My goal is to create a mini site in a niche that is monetized simply with Adsense and some affiliate links and drive traffic to it using Bum marketing, which is the writing and submitting of creating keyword-rich articles to article directories that rank well in the search engines.
The ArticleMasher Project (Cancelled)
ArticleMasher is a software tool (to support the Bum Marketing project) that I intend to give away. This project will allow me to learn about list building, video tutorials and software distribution.
The High Paying Niche Experiment (Complete)
This experiment was designed to answer the question, “Is it more difficult to sell a higher priced product than a cheap one?”. This project is now closed.
