Podcast #3 – The Last 4 Weeks Have Not Been My Best

December 15, 2007 Posted under: Podcasts by Caroline Middlebrook

Regular readers may have noticed that the quality of posts has dropped a bit over the last few weeks and I’ve not been working on any of the projects I had taken on. This podcast explains why and I also talk about what I’m going to be doing until the end of the year and in January.

Sorry there’s no transcript available but I never put anything earth-shatteringly important in my podcasts :-)

Click the play button below, it’s 7 minutes long.

Hi Caroline,

Glad to hear that you’re feeling better. It’s been fun to watch your rapid rise over the past couple of months. The fact that your readership has continued to rise, even while life has gotten in the way of some of the things you wanted to do, just proves how good the content you’ve already posted really is. I’m looking forward to reading your new stuff. Good luck in the New Year.

p.s. it was cool listening to your podcast, the accent brings back memories for me. I lived in the UK twice. At Lakenheath from 1984 to 1989, then in Huntingdon (just down the road from John Major’s house) from 1991 to 1994.

Caroline,

I am new to blogging and have been a subsciber to your feed for a week or so. I am impressed by your story and desire to make a life, and living from the web. You have an honest voice and if you keep doing what you are doing success should follow.

I liked the honest appraisal you gave in you podcast. It shows that you are sincere and serious about the results of your actions.

Stay well and keep up the good work! I am looking forward to reading about your future success.

Merry Christmas!

I have noticed that your enthusiasism about your blog or content has not been up to par. You may have set you pace a bit high, now that things are settleing I am sure things will be more regular, maybe not so frantic like before, but more

Hi Caroline!

You are so-o-o hard on yourself. You’ve already given us such an enormous amount of good content that it could keep us busy for months to come. All you should be doing for now is posting “The Best Of” in snippets and getting some rest!

I have to say I was worried that you were headed for a burn-out. It’s a good thing you slowed down when you did. I may not post comments very often, but I’ve been following you since the very beginning — and I’ve learned so much from you I can’t begin to say how much I appreciate your dedication to sharing your knowledge and experience. You are a giving soul.

So please don’t put too much pressure on yourself. You could well give half of what you usually give and it would still be among the best there is on the web. You know we love you…and we care enough to let you breathe. Now relax and enjoy the end of year festivities!

Big hugs always,
Mudd a.k.a. Oza
xoxo

1. Don’t even go there!
2. You are doing just fine!
3. Remember the slogan…
4. Never, Never, Never, Never, Ever, Give Up?
5. It does not mean you should get worn out!
6. What Oza said up there is it. No more than that.
7. If only you can listen to everyones down side, you will start smiling immediately.
8. Now think about it, you yourself know that there is no need to feel down or sad, the day is bright! So bright you can see things around you without electricity! :-)
9. Now, cheer up and enjoy your days.
10. Our best of days are never behind, they are forever and always ahead.
11. All the best to you and yours, smile… :-)
12. BTW, did you get my FB wall post?
13. Remain blessed and a blessing.
14. We shall communicate again soon if God is willing!
15. Warm regards,
16. Olakunle Solomon Fatoye.

Hey Caroline, I’m just going through some of your posts and listened to this podcast.

You should have received the first Blog Mastermind lesson immediately after joining (it was linked in the welcome email).

If you haven’t sorted this out yet, please shoot me an email so I can make sure you get your lessons – even if you don’t have time to review them yet!

Also, you may have missed a few emails then too – one in particular about the Social Traffic Club, which is something for Blog Mastermind designed to help with social marketing.

If you don’t know about this, please hit me up with an email and I’ll send you links.

No rush though – take your time, it’s the holidays after all!

Cheers,

Yaro
