I’ve Been Interviewed :-)
December 5, 2007 Posted under: Personal by Caroline Middlebrook
Just a quickie post today… for those of you that aren’t bored to tears of hearing about me, you might be interested in an interview that I have done with Patrick of Piggy Bank Pie.
It was a really interesting interview to do (I can talk about myself all day long lol!) and Patrick asked me lots of questions about me quitting my job, the 30 Day Challenge, Blogging, my take on Web 2.0 and some quickie questions.
Enjoy :)

The link seems to go to a 404 error, Caroline. I don’t seem to be able to find the interview on the site either.
I’m looking forward to reading it… when it’s there. :D
The link seemed to work for me Jamie?
Good write-up Caroline btw
It seems to be working now. I guess it was a temporary glitch. :)
I’ll give it a read soon, Caroline.
You came across well, not like an internet marketer (thank goodness) – personable and down to earth.
I hope it leads to lots more subscribers for you – you have great content that I think lots of bloggers could benefit from.
nice interview, thanks for posting a link to it so we could read all the details. scott
Thank you for the kind words Chipseo.
Patrick
Inspirative interview.
It’s a surprise that your favorite WP plug-in is instead one that is already in the standard installation: Akismet. Can’t imagine how much work should we spend into managing comments without this tool.
@Jamie, both the interview itself and this post were scheduled – I must have got the timing wrong and scheduled my post before the Interview was online! Sorry about that :)
@Hendry, yeah recently I have been getting almost 100 spam comments daily! With askimet it takes me just seconds to process them and they never see the light of day, it’s wonderful.
Caroline,
It’s amazing how you’ve gone from underground to WELL above-ground in less than 2 months.
You have been featured on Darren’s http://www.problogger.net site + on Yaro’s site and that’s pretty amazing for a newcomer.
I quite enjoy learning from you and applying some your techniques to my site…which has nothing to do with making money with your blog.
I think that if you can achieve so much in a few short months, the next 6-9 months will become explosive for you in your growth.
I have to say that I really like those summary posts where you show your growth. Since you numbers are still within our reach, we can identity with your growth and see our own potential growth….it’s not like you currently have 30,000 subscribers and we’re only getting started…it almost feel like we’re on this journey along your side.
Thanks so much for inspiring the rest of us!

@Gisele, yes I myself become disillusioned with ‘gurus’ that seem to be doing so well but only started blogging after they already made it. I hope that no matter where I end up, by clearly blogging about my progress every step of the way I can leave behind a trail that others can follow right from the beginning.
Darn, and I was about to do a full detailed review :)
I guess I’ll have to wait.

What a detailed interview – holding you accountable for comments you’d made in posts on specific dates and your follow up on those commitments!! Almost like you were a politician running for office! (-:
It’s extremely helpful seeing your progress and your strategies, even if some of them are trial and error. As others have stated, it’s great to be taken along so early in your journey – very inspiring. Thanks for sharing.
