The way I see it, you can’t afford to not outsource. Business owners who try to do everything themselves end up crippling their business’s potential because there’s just no way that anyone has the time to do everything that’s required of a successful business. Even more importantly, no-one has all of the skills that a business needs, and this is what’s difficult to realise if you’re a control freak – sometimes there’s someone better for the job than you are! Something else to think about if the cost of outsourcing seems too high: if you weren’t getting these services in an outsourcing capacity, you’d probably end up having to employ someone to do the job, and imagine how much that would cost?

earned first but I�ve come to realize recently that I�ll always be
limited in my earnings because of the time it takes me to

$300 for a PHP programmer a month is just crazy. I think it’s the cheapest I’ve ever seen. Even here in Mauritius a PHP programmer has a way higher wage. Great post. Loved to read through.

Outsourcing will save you a lot of time especially on those tasks you hate doing. I hate bookmarking and coming up with new content for niches. But I find doing my own work is always better than hiring people to do it for me. Id rather take time to get the work done then wasting time going over everything done by someone else because some people can mess you up.

Hey everyone,

It’s great to hear your feedback and it sounds like the common question or fear everyone has is “I can’t afford” to hire anyone yet.

Some quick tips and suggestions from experience:
1. You can hire someone for as little as $125 US per month part-time. What I would go further and do if I don’t have enough work for them or want to keep my costs low is to share this person with someone else. (That’s how I first got started)

2. Start with the mindset that I can’t do everything myself because I am limited to amount of time in a day. Therefore you need to focus on your strengths that generate income QUICK! E.g. if you are good at sales and promoting a product, that’s all you should be focusing on and outsource all your admin and customer service first.

3.Start with the end goal in mind as well. Where do you want to be in 6 months, 12 months time? How much time do you want to work on your business? 4 hours a week, 10 hours a week? Once you have made a firm decision, then you need to work towards what is going to be most dollar productive for you and the rest you need to get others to complete. Remember if you don’t set targets and dates, you’ll continue to do everything yourself just to save costs. I did this for a while with my Dragonboat business and it suffered when it was making enough money to cover myself and others. I just didn’t do it because I had not made a commitment at the beginning.

As pointed out by someone in the comments, I agree 100% that outsourcing is key to grow a business online, but it is not always easy to do it right and to master the whole outsourcing process…

i agree 100% that before you start outsourcing, you should be making some money that enables you to effort such a thing. but then sometimes if you have a good idea and know that it will work by outsourcing the work involved to get it going faster and more effective than i guess you could take the risk and pay before you make any money. either way its a decision that has to be made with care.

@Darryl, yes I have exactly the same concerns. I’ll be interested to see the rest of this content as it gets released because if you really can get quality work done that cheaply then outsourcing becomes a LOT more viable.

I have only done article writing by outsourcing and even there I see the problems. One is finding quality work. The second is my problem accepting that quality work can be done so cheaply. Understandably, people in other countries have different living standards and income expectations. Still, it is hard to accept that someone is willing to work for $10 when in the US $100 would be minimum.

@Fran, you’ve just described the perfect catch-22! You can’t afford to outsource because you’re not making the money and you can’t make the money because you don’t have the time to do the work! If you could start off with a tiny bit of outsourcing that was really cheap to free up just a little of your time that would be a start! I think I’m going to get started to offload some promo work like article writing.

@Barbra, true I’m sure but I bet most people (including myself!) will learn that the hard way :-)

I never get tired of learning but I do get tired of being limited
by technical details. I spent $25 last week for my first outsourcing job, a small job installing a script that’s going to
help me make money and it felt good… I felt secure in ordering
this because of the backing of Warrior Forum War Room members.

I have no doubt that outsourcing is the answer… what small
brick and mortar business ever grows if the owner is trying to
do everything herself? The problem is getting the right kind of
help…

By the way, I’m a firm believer that anyone owning a business can’t succeed long-term without their outsourcing team – so I guess this resource you recommended today is a great helper.

P.S. You’re right here – “you need to earn the money first before you can afford to pay for staff”, but it’s well worth it!
