I started this project on October 15th 2007. This page will reflect the status of the project and contain links to the relevant blog posts.

Bum Marketing Project Plan

This is what I intend to do with this project:

1. Pick keywords to target
2. Start writing articles - store them up
3. Buy a domain to host a mini-site
4. Setup Wordpress on domain
5. Install essential Wordpress plugins (eg Backup)
6. Pick a Wordpress theme and install it
7. Write a few pages of static content
8. Install Adsense
9. Place affiliate links / banners
10. Install Google Analytics
11. Setup accounts at main article directories
12. Write articles - LOTS of them
13. Try out article submission software

Total Articles Written so Far: 20
Total Articles Submitted so Far: 15

I imagine that the article writing will get quite boring after a while which is why I have that as both the 2nd and the 12th item. What I really want to do is just get started with the articles daily and also do a bit of work on the technical bits as I go along.
