Broadband Died, Chain of Daily Postings Broken :(
September 20, 2007 Posted under: Personal by Caroline Middlebrook
Last night I got home after work to find that my broadband connection was down and I was without internet. I phoned my provider and they told me that there was a fault on the exchange. As a result, I couldn’t publish yesterday’s post which has resulted in breakage of the chain of daily postings I had made since the day I launched the blog.
This irks me a bit but such is life.
I’m publishing this from work as I have no idea if my broadband at home is back up and I’m not taking the risk! That’s one advantage of a day job that I wont have next week :-)

@Don, I had no Internet access at all so I couldn’t do anything until I got into work today.
Dearly Beloved Caroline:
Just a couple of QUOTES and to let you know that all I can see is that your space should be watched because it will make waves soon!
If a man has any greatness in him, it comes to light, not in one flamboyant hour, but in the ledger of his daily work.
- Beryl Markham (Minus the dead broadband)
The greatest glory in living lies not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall.
- Nelson Mandela (So the broadband’s death cannot win)
The greater the obstacle, the more glory in overcoming it.
- Moliere (The dead broadband only gave you more topics to discuss)
The most wasted of all days is one without laughter.
- E E Cummings (Laugh IT Off!)
:-)
On the lighter side, we all have reasons to quit but the rule is never to quit because we are so close that we just have to hang on till we reach the banks of destiny.
The ocean and sea of success is more than the lands and wildernesses of struggle, we just must get to the banks of cool blowing breeze to savour the joy of overcoming the challenges that have faced us and the quenching of the thirst that is beyond compare.
Hope this helps to let you be rest assured that some people out there (of which I am one of them) are looking forward to seeing your name at the top!
Sink or Swim? You decide. :-)
Remain blessed and a blessing.

Olakunle Solomon Fatoye.
