A Free Ebook: The Easy SEO Report
SEO is not my strong point, I really rather suck at it. I have bought Aaron Wall’s SEO book but to be honest I didn’t read much of it as it was just too big and it overwhelmed me a little! So I was pleased that my buddy Josh Spaulding’s new free report – The Easy SEO Report was a short and easy read.
In just 15 pages Josh tells us everything we need to know to get first page rankings in Google. I already knew some of it such as the basic information about title tags and the importance of link building but there were quite a few action points to take away from it which I intend to implement when I next do a bit of technical work on the blog.
Also, Josh is actually paying affiliates to promote the ebook for him! Download the book using my link and I earn 20c, cool huh? :-) There are a couple of affiliate links in the book so I hope he gets enough upsells to cover his costs.

Hey that’s great, I downloaded the report and blogged about it today too. It is a nice easy little guide though and Aaron’s tips will give your pages a big SEO boost if you’re not already doing them.

I believe Aaron’s book contains alot of good info, but if you worry about every little thing you’ll end up spending more time on the minuscule things that may or may not help when you could be concentrating on what’s important. I think my own rankings are proof that concentrating on what’s important and ignoring the little things pays off in the end.
btw, I’m not too worried about the affiliate links within the report. I just figured I might as well stick them in there since I was mentioning them anyway :) The investment comes in other forms.
@ Dennis, that’s a low blow ;) but like Caroline said, it adds up as it’s very easy to get people to download a free report.

This sounds a lot less overwhelming than the big book…it’s hard to beat free and easy! There are certainly lots of SEO info products out there, so keeping it simple is a good way to stand out.
